Last April, I had the pleasure of going to Sulafest 2009, the wine fest by Sula Vineyards, in the small city of Nashik, Maharashtra. And just as you would expect these wine festivals to be, Sulafest too had great music, food, dance, fun people and of course, lot of awesome wine. This was my first time at an event like this and needless to say, I was too excited.
I was invited to Sulafest in the capacity of a journalist and had a good time with the bunch of writers there. And what a catalyst alcohol is to seemingly intellectual conversations, I hardly need write! There was some terrific live music by Shaa’ir + Func, Jalebee Cartel and a couple of other DJs.
This time around, the Sulafest is on Feb 20 and if you are going to be in Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, or a nearby place, I suggest you be a part of the fest. Totally unexpected showers did play spoilsport last time, but there are absolutely no chances of that happening again.
Here’s a dekko of Sulafest 2010:
Necessary details of the fest are mentioned in the poster. For accommodation and directions visit their website here.
If you are going to be there, make sure you drop me a line in the comment box, we shall indulge in small talk over wine (and hopefully, there’ll be some cheese too).
See you there!

Aww… I’m going to be out of town in the 2nd week of feb. Damn it this looks like fun!
